Pakistan Allrounder Aamir Jamal expressed his disappointment after he was omitted from the Asia Cup 2025 team. The team, led by Agha Salman, will be confronted with Oman, India and the VAE, but Jamal will not be part of the campaign.

Jamal, who won the headlines during the Pakistan tour through Australia with his power in the attraction, has difficulty strengthening his place in the national setup.

Despite his versions, the selectors chose to exclude him from both the Asia Cup team and the central contracts of the PCB.

Speaking with a local sports platform, Jamal demanded clarity from the board and the selectors about his future.

“So far I have not had any conversation with someone about my role in future plans. I need clarity, if I am not considered in any size, let’s be honest about it. If you don’t want me to be part of the team, that’s fine.”

“I have only been out because of an injury, but I am completely restored and proven my fitness, I am 100% fit. I have bent with full rhythm and perfectly maintained my workload,” Jamal said in a statement quoted by Geo Super.

The 28-year-old Pakistan represented in 17 races in formats, including eight tests, three ODIs and six T20Is, who pick up 26 wickets. His last international performance came earlier this year in the Cape Test Test against South Africa.

Jamal, who has been praised as a promising all -rounder, has encouraged the PCB to openly communicate with players about their future to prevent uncertainty.
