As we know, Paddy Pimblett is coming off his first UFC loss at the hands of Justin Gaethje at UFC 324. While he certainly showed a lot of heart and resilience, it ultimately wasn’t enough to earn him the UFC interim lightweight championship.

Now Pimblett is looking ahead to the future. He certainly has the potential to do big things at 155 pounds, even after his loss to Gaethje, but it’s not clear what exactly the path forward is for him. Still, he has a huge fan base, and that can take you a long way in the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
In a recent video on his channel, Pimblett spoke openly about the timeline, in his mind, for his return to the Octagon.
Pimblett discusses his UFC return
“To be honest, I’ll be honest with all of you, it pissed me off that Saint Denis got over me for hitting that bum Dan Hooker,” Pimblett said on his YouTube channel. “Why did Saint Denis come over me for hitting the bum Dan Hooker, who the hell? What’s going on there?”
“I will fight anyone,” Pimblett said. “I just know which name is sent to me on a contract, I sign it and I fight them. But Saint Denis sounds like a good fight to me. The two best lightweights in Europe are going to fight against each other. Or I won’t get the winner, but the loser of Max.” [Holloway]-Karel [Oliveira]. F*ck, I’ll fight Arman if that’s what you want. I don’t give a fuck. I will fight anyone.
“But I’ll be back in the summer. Just let me know when and where, Hunter, Dana, Sean and I are ready to go. I have no injuries. People keep saying, ‘Oh, because of the damage he’s done, he’s going to have to take months off.’ … I didn’t even have a concussion. I never had a headache again after that. All I had was a scarred face and sore eyeballs after being punctured.
