Paddy Pimblett has revealed the only two ways an opponent can force a tap from him. Pimblett says he would rather go to sleep and wake up ten seconds later when an opponent tries to choke him.
However, if the Brit gets stuck in an armbar or a kimura, he doesn’t hesitate to tap. He said:
“If you choke, you wake up ten seconds later. The only thing I tap for is an armbar or kimura when my arm is about to snap in half.”

He is currently gearing up for the interim title fight against Justin Gaethje, which will headline UFC 324 when the promotion makes its debut on Paramount+.
Paddy Pimblett says TUF with Ilia Topuria needs 24/7 security
After Ilia Topuria announced a break from fighting due to personal concerns, Paddy Pimblett showed support for Topuria despite their differences.
However, ‘The Baddy’ suggested that their long-standing feud remains unresolved and recently stated that 24-hour security would be required if he and Topuria ever serve as opposing coaches on The Ultimate Fighter.
“A while ago, Moicano and I had a back and forth conversation. I said me and him should do The Ultimate Fighter. Moicano is funny and I’m funny, and it would be a good season, but it just never happened. I was going to do one with Ilia, but they should have 24/7 security there.”
