Rock legend Ozzy Osbourne unfortunately died at the age of 76, just a few days after he founded the stage to perform in his last performance ever. The Black Sabbath star was married to Sharon Osbourne for more than four decades, but there was a time when he tried to kill his wife “calmly” while under the influence of drugs.
Ozzy was one morning behind bars in 1989 and apparently did not know that he had tried to nip his husband. Although it was not the first time he had been behind bars, Ozzy had to ask a police officer what had happened to which they answered: “You are accused of killing Mrs. Sharon Osbourne.”
The couple opened the horrible moment that their families were almost irrevocably torn apart in a documentary entitled The Nine Lives of Ozzy Osbourne. Looking back on that terrible evening, Sharon remembered that he had stopped her young children, Aimee, Kelly and Jack before setting up with a book when a Ozzy turned by drugs came into the room.
According to The sun on SundayShe said: “I had no idea who was opposite me on the couch, but it wasn’t my husband. He goes to a stage in which he gets that look in his eyes, the shutters were down and I just couldn’t get through it.
“And he just said:” We have come to a decision that you should die. “
“He was calm – very calm – then suddenly he jumped towards me and just dived on me and started to choke.
“He brought me to the floor on top of me and I felt like things on the table. I felt the panic button and I just pressed it and the next thing I know, the police were there.”
The shocking incident took place when the family had lived in Buckinghamshire, England. Sharon remembered how the thought of her three young children gave her the power to survive and hold until the police arrived.
Following her account, Ozzy admitted that he had no idea why he ended up behind bars the next morning. He noticed: “It is not exactly one of my greatest achievements.
“Everything I remember wakes up in the prison of Amersham and I asked the agent:” Why am I here? ” And he says, “Do you want me to read you?” So he read: “John Michael Osbourne, you are arrested for attempted murder.”
The man and the woman could continue with the testing and Ozzy went in rehabilitation for his addictions on various occasions.
The Osbourne family, including Sharon, their daughters Kelly and Aimee, their son Jack and Ozzy’s son, Louis, revealed in a statement that the Black Sabbath legend had died on Tuesday morning. They said, “It is with more sadness than just being able to convey words that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne died this morning.
“He was with his family and surrounded by love. We are currently asking everyone to respect our family privacy. Sharon, Jack, Kelly, Aimee and Louis.” Ozzy, who was known by millions as the Prince of Darkness, had fought against poor health in recent years and played his last performance ever before his death.
