IPO-related parental entity of Oyo, Oravel Stays, will now be called Prisma to serve as the umbrella entity for all its companies and various brands of the Global Travel Tech platform.
In a letter to shareholders sent by Oyo, consulted by PTI, chairman of the council and founder Ritesh Agarwal, said that Oravel Stays Prism Life, Kort Prisma, will launch as the new business identity.
“Prism will serve as the umbrella for all our various companies, help us to work more efficiently and clearly communicate who we are. It will bind our different brands without losing what makes each unique,” Agrarwal said in the letter.
He further shared that the transition to Prisma marks the establishment of a clearer and more future business architecture, designed to tailor the growing portfolio of the company to his strategic vision.
“Our brand Oyo will continue to serve as the very recognizable, consumer-oriented identity for budget and midscale journeys, a space that it has defined and clearly marked, with a solid impression worldwide. Prism, in turn, takes on the role of the mother brand, a diversified ecosystem that a premium, extensive residence, extensive residence, extensive residence, extensive residence, extensive residence, extensive residence, extensive residence, extensive residence gods, and extensive residence reasstened. The new company name Prism was chosen after a global public name competition that attracted more than 6,000 entries.
Oyo, founded in 2012 by Agarwal, serves more than 100 million customers in more than 35 countries.
The portfolio of the group includes hotels among the brands such as Oyo, Motel 6, Townhouse, Sunday and Palette.
In the segment of the holiday homes, it operates various brands, such as Belvilla, Dancer, CheckMyuest and Studio Prestige.
The extensive residence category is represented by Studio 6, taken over via G6 Hospitality in the US.
In addition, the portfolio includes workplaces and party rooms, offered through Innov8 and Weddingz.in. The group also offers solutions for hospitality technology, including AI-driven partner tools and data science platforms.
