‘Crypto Castle’ by Australia has organized star Tom Cruise, Nicole Kidman and Martha Stewart, and you can also stay there for almost $ 25,000 a night.
From hosting film shoots to the welcome of Hollywood elites, the megamansie on the beach in South Coogee in Sydney has a history-lined history.
And the owner, founder of product comparison website Finder.com.au and Cryptocurrency Gospel, Fred Schebesta, has offered a look behind the velvet rope and revealed what it is like to live in the ‘Crypto Castle’.
“There is definitely an energy on it,” the entrepreneur told Realestate.com.au.
“If you know that people such as Tom Cruise, Nicole Kidman, Dua Lipa and Cate Blanchett have all spent time here, it adds a mystical. It is as if the house itself has stories.”
It is this energy that the founder of Finder.com.au calls as the main reason behind his purchase of $ 16.85 million of the amazing real estate in 2021.
“There is a feeling when you step in – it’s magic,” said Mr. Schebesta. “I never felt that in another room.”
The other striking feature of the Cliffftop house is the proximity of the ocean, with the very long side of the house to the water.
“The architecture, the layout, the spirit of the place – it is completely different from everything I have seen,” he said.
A history littered with stars
Although the ‘Crypto Castle’ has been a home for Fred and his young family, it is much more than that – it is a piece of cultural history.
Long before the entrepreneur had the enviable piece of real estate, it was already a magnet for A-Listers.

Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise shot scenes for the blockbuster film from the 90s Eyes widely closed, And it has since become a Go-TO for both film and TV productions.
It has also been a popular photo location for top brands, including Chanel, Georgio Armani (with Cate Blanchett), Myer and Michael Hill.
The most recent guests are musician Dua Lipa and Lifestyle Queen, Martha Stewart, who selected the location as home base during a recent visit to Sydney.
“That legacy contributes to the creativity of the place,” said Schebesta.
“You feel it, you feel inspired by it … it’s not just a home, it’s a muse.
“There are several other controversial celebrities who recently film in the castle, but we cannot share the details until the projects are live.”
A modest approach to renovation
Despite the extravagant purchase price, the Tech guru has chosen a modest approach to update the property.
“My approach is always to live in place before it makes major changes,” he said.
“It took a long time with this house. It is large, complex and exposed to the elements right next to the ocean, which means that things break, corrode things.
“So I focused on smart, preventive maintenance. I am grouping smaller jobs together and do them in one go. I replace seals on doors and windows before they become problems.
“I have been careful not to touch the structural or architectural bones of the house. The architecture has integrity and it can change too much.”
Once the entrepreneur, the Savvy Business owner, took the decision to open his megamansie as an exclusive rent – a rent that now claims to be the most expensive Airbnb ownership in the country.
“One of the large drivers [in listing the mansion] Was creativity, “he said.
“This space helped me to connect deeper with my own creativity, and I wanted others to experience that too.”
One at home
Looking at the future, Schebesta sees the enviable home as being at home forever.
“This is not the kind of ownership you sell, not unless someone comes with an absolute wild offer,” he said.

“The amount of time and energy and money it would be to rebuild this is ridiculous of permits to materials to anchoring in the KLIF-it would be a mission for more than 10 years. It is irreplaceable.”
The experience of life in such a remarkable house with the Pacific Ocean, because the back garden was not lost on the multi-billionaire.
“It is surreal to see the sun coming up from the ocean,” he said.
“And when it starts, the light wraps through the house in the most cinematic way. It is magical and I know that I would like to live here forever.”
