Slowly but surely the new daily routines start with us after a long leave. My studies start next week, which makes this a bit “holy”. Concert, dinner with friends and an attempt at a classic cleaning of things at home is on the agenda. However, I am holding on to the memory of fun events this summer, which is meant to dress well, so nice!
Always be happy if you ask it here or on Instagram where my clothes come from, but the majority of my wardrobe is vintage, so it will be difficult to buy exactly the same:/ but it will not stop you from looking for similar! Anyway, I have put together an overview of the clothing/outfits that were worn on different occasions this summer, enjoy it!
We take it in a kind of order:
- Two distributing sets in Mint Green, tried this for a wedding where we were in June, but chose an outfit at the last minute. Found it at Beyond Retro, and I think it’s great, hope to get the chance to wear it quickly.
- Bought a white dress in the local little kiosk where we live in Menorca. Very nice if you are less nice in November. But you never know, it can be used if you expect the least hehe. The black hat that I wrote about in earlier reports I tried it during the visit of Eva Velazquez x Jimmy Beyens in Maó in Menorca.
- This is a “new” dress that my grandmother gave me last summer and is her from the 40/50s, it wore last Saturday at a surprise party together with the Black Boots by Isabel Marant. I like to mix styles and decades. The dress I have had since, but then together with my cowboy boots and leather jacket.
- For the wedding that I mentioned in point 1, instead I chose this dress, I suspect an original from the sixties, the day before found in the city mission in the old town for SEK 169. Closed with a few old vintage vintage find low silver ballerinas until the same decade. The wedding ceremony was in the church with the subsequent garden party/dinner, so the outfit fit well. Always nice with color! Had a black leather jacket with fringes and a small blue evening bag.
- What brown I was hahaha, so fits the background, my God. Anyway, not what we should concentrate on, but this dress that was also an alternative to the wedding. Bought a few years ago at Beyond Retro, but has not yet come to use, it certainly does it in the future because it is so fun and possible to dress up and down.
- A few weekends ago we celebrated the love of Good Friends and the theme was Schickimiki / 80’s glamor, extremely good theme. I all went inside and wore my mother’s dress in the black velvet from the 80s, repaired the hair from my loyal hairdresser Ravi (he is cruel, affordable and the food always takes several days) and bought jewelry from Antique Old & New. I hung around a lot in high school, but was almost forgotten, tips to go there to botanize.
- Long dress that I also received from my grandmother this summer, and who turned out to be the old one of my mother who had given them to grandma for a long time. The circle is closed and it has been used extensively since I had to take it over. Incredibly comfortable and it has the opportunity to be refused in different ways, about jeans, with sneakers, etc. Thank you grandma (and mother)!
