“They were not for Newcastle, nor now for Liverpool, and certainly not for him and Sweden, as you said.
“And it can take a few weeks before he is aware, and we see the Alexander Isak that we have seen before.”
This belief of a short cameo from the bank is something that was also shared by Sky Sports’ Vinny O’Connor.
The Swedish striker scored 27 goals for Newcastle last season, including the winner against us in the Carabao Cup final, but we all wait for his debut in Anfield and Liverpool.
