Batavia, NY – Two $ 12,800 open class events were on Saturday (September 20) evening at the account of Batavia Downs and both winners easily claimed the victory.

First in the Open Handicap -Druf there was no competition for El Toro Loco, who had full control on the way to his victory.

Kevin Cummings sent El Toro Loco forward from Post Five and opened an immediate gap between two length when he passed the quarter in: 28.3. With I Got The Looks (Dan Yetman) that was set up in the bag, El Toro Loco shifted back to half: 58.3 Before he got three -quarters in 1: 27.3 with only a mild bid from Bisco (Jim McNight Jr.), who never came closer than the third and three length in arrears. El Toro Loco hit the top of the piece in front with three and simply drove to the line in 1: 56.2.

It was the eighth victory of the year for El Toro Loco ($ 5.40) who is owned by Mike Torcello and trained by Sam Smith.

Then Miragon A came to half at the open handicap pace to first finish with the wire.

Jim Morrill Jr. Fifth away with Mirragon A as Lanjo Lee (Kyle Cummings) and Twist Knot (Joe Chindano Jr.) traded in the quarter. Twist Knoop was at the leadership and guided the group to half: 56.4. That is where Morrill Miragon A had tipped and the edge to the leader was founded while they were three three. Miragon A was completely busy with Twist Knoop at five-nightth and moved by him in the lead, who passed three-quarters in 1: 24.1.
