The Farmers Insurance Open takes place on the North Course and South Course at Torrey Pines California and is part of the West Coast Swing of the 2026 PGA Tour season.
The event dates back to 1952, then known as the San Diego Open, and is one of the highlights of the early season.
Farmers Insurance took over sponsorship in 2010, with the tournament previously bearing the names of Wickes, Isuzu, Shearson Lehman Brothers and Buick.
Harris English is the defending champion having won the title in 2025.

Farmers Insurance Open Golf Format and Schedule
The Farmers Insurance Open is played over four rounds / 72 holes, spread over two different courses in Torrey Pines.
Players will play a round on both the North Course and South Course on the first two days. After the 36 holes, the last two rounds are played on the South Course.
- Day 1 – Wednesday January 29
- Day 2 – Thursday January 30th
- Day 3 – Friday January 31st
- Day 4 – Saturday February 1
