Manchester United is currently locked up in a “big battle” with Newcastle about RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko.
After the improved range of £ 78 million from Newcastle, it has now emerged that United has made its own bid.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the supply of Ineos is £ 73.8 million for rush hour, including add-ons.

Sesko still has to choose his preference destination, but the transfer guru suggests that United believes that he likes to be on the move.
Anyone who will choose Sesko is what everyone is waiting to see.
Although there is hope for a move to Old Trafford, his transfer to United remains anything but certain.
United would be wise to have drawn up a reliable plan B to provide a heartache if they miss the Bundesliga ahead.
If not Sesko, is the feeling that United will turn to Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins.
Watkins, sharp on Premier League-Consessed players, was packed as head coach Ruben Amorim’s preferred strip after missing his top choices.
The Premier League experience and the proven record of the 29-year-old for the goal can still be exactly where United craves. But there were obstacles in the chase.
Villa was reportedly reluctant to sell, and the figures involved (given its age) were not encouraging.
These issues saw United Shift focusing on Sesko, but if they do not land the 22-year-old, Watkins may still be the fallback.
Encouraging, obstacles seem to be gradually cleaning up in the pursuit of United to Watkins.
Watkins and what he thinks of his future in Villa Park
Sun I have dropped a report in which they claim that the Englishman, likes to leave Villa Park and take the next step in his career, “is ready to step into the void if Man Utd Benjamin Sesko cannot lure the club.”
The British outlet also mentions that “his wishes overlap with Aston villas, who also get a fight to keep their summer spending within PSR limits.”
Villa did not want to sell him initially, as the report repeats:
“Unai Emery would have liked to sell the will of Jacob Ramsey and Leon Bailey to meet the requirements of the Premier League, but still has to receive the interest they had hoped for.”
Now they can be forced to sell, with £ 40 – £ 50 million reportedly enough.
That is the kind of update that Man United would like to have heard from Villa Park (but Sesko remains the priority)
Just the hint that Villa can “not for sale” attitude towards Watkins is a boost for United.
It should be a consolation that, as generation talent Sesko slips through their fingers, as Liam Delap and Viktor Gyokeres did, there is at least one decent option, which she would like to tell: “Draw me.”
Anyway, all eyes and all focus must be on Sesko. He can still decide that the fate of Ollie Watkins.
