The vacant welterweight title was on the line when Rony Paradeiser faced Kaik Brito on Saturday at Oktagon 84.
Slovakia’s Paradeiser was looking to claim a second title in the promotion after the former lightweight champion made the step up to 170 pounds last year. Brito, a former champion himself, was looking to regain his old title, which he relinquished prior to a failed attempt at the Contender Series in 2023.
In the co-main event, former welterweight champion David Kozama appeared to snap a three-fight skid as he took on Jozef Wittner, a PFL alum returning to the promotion for the first time since Oktagon 18 in 2020.
