Stuart Skinner just made 33 Saves in the Edmonton to improve to 4-4 in the game after the season, his first victory in the play-offs that was not a shutout.

The stars were without forward Roope Hintz, who was in second place in the team that entered the game. Hintz had to be helped late in the third period of game 2 of the ice after he was cut on the top of the left foot by Oilers defender Darnell Nurse. The stars argued that the nurse earned a major or suspension of five minutes, none of them appeared. … Oilers defender Mattias Ekholm was not with an injury, but is expected to return and make his playoff debut in the series. … Oilers Vooruit Connor Brown suffered an injury in the second period and did not return.
Game 4 takes place on Tuesday in Edmonton.
