Title: Men’s and women’s assistant tennis coach at Ohlone College (Fremont, CA)
Description: The tennis coach for men and women must have a strong passion for teaching and learning tennis. Your athletics or playing ability is not as important as your desire to teach and learn. You must also be punctual, reliable and professional at all times.
Tasks:
- Become main assistant of the Ohlone College Renegades Tennis teams of the men and women (autumn 2025 – Spring 2026 season)
- Learn 1-on-1 private lessons at the Ohlone Tennis Academy
- Learn, lead and assist in adult and junior tennis lessons/clinics on the Ohlone Tennis Academy
- Recruit new players for the tennis program
- Help with social media and marketing
- Possibility to be flexible in planning (evenings and weekends may be needed)
Desired qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- High School, College, USTA and/or ITF Tournament Tennis Playing Experience
- At least 2 years of experience of tennis coaching
- Strong working ethics and communication skills
- Pass on a background check and complete the safe play requirement of the USTA
- Currently live or willing to move to the San Francisco Bay Area or Fremont, CA
Salary:
Stiping for men’s and women’s assistant tennis coach Plus earn at least 60% of your hourly rate at private lessons and/or group of tennis lessons/clinics.
