After the statement by FC Barcelona who confirmed that Gavi was excluded from tomorrow’s Leaf match against Rayo Vallecano, the Spanish football federation confirmed its withdrawal from the national team team.
Gavi was one of the seven Barcelona players called by Spain manager Luis de la Fuente for their upcoming matches against Bulgaria and Turkey in the FIFA World Cup qualifications.
The 21-year-old Prodigy, however, suffered a knee injury during training on Friday. Although there are fears that it can be a serious problem, the Blaugrana Baggered worries and stated that it was only ‘discomfort’.
As such, the RFEF has confirmed that Gavi will not be part of the Spain team for their upcoming competitions in September.
