We can all agree that Odsonne Edouard was a wrong signing by Steve Cooper. Not that the Crystal Palace Forward is a bad player, but because Leicester had no idea how he could use it. Ruud van Nistelrooy and Steve Cooper throw him under the buses. Give him no chance to play.
Odsonne is back in the first team frame in Crystal Palace. He made a good impression during the preseason. Recently picking up a community Shield winners medal. He was on the couch in front of the fixture versus Liverpool.
He was also mentioned on the couch for the season opener vs. Chelsea. Crystal Palace is competing in Europe this season and will play Fredrikstad from Norway tomorrow. Would not be surprised if Odsonne is in the starting line-up or given minutes, the very best for him.
Leicester fans have never given him a chance. Certain parts of the fan base decided that he was nonsense. They assessed him without really knowing who this proven professional was.

Of course great to see him again at the highest level. All the best for Odsonne who had a nightmare in Leicester last season, not to blame him. Strange to see how quickly things can change in football.
But again, this is a football player with good statistics. He has a special track record in international football and scores 17 goals in 14 U21 performances for France. Edouard scored 54 goals in 94 league games for Celtic. His count in Crystal Palace is so far 18 in 95.
His time with Leicester was not the best. He may not have mounted in the system. He may also not have received the opportunities needed to offer the best quality.
He looks good after his return to Crystal Palace.
