Grove City, OH – Odds On Chesapeake is on the board in 16 of 18 starts, earning over $470,000. It is the 2025 Ohio 3-year-old Pacing Filly of the Year.

The Down on the coast The filly from Macaroon won nine races in 2025, with six second places and one third. Trained by Virgil Morgan Jr., she earned $477,800 this year and recorded a lifetime score of 1:49.3 in the Jugette Elimination in Delaware on September 17. Odds On Chesapeake, bred by Odds On Nourrir and owned by Dana Parham Sr., won in four of five legs of the Ohio Sires Stakes and won the $100,000 Nadia Lobell and $71,000 Ohio State Fair stakes at Eldorado Scioto Downs. She was second in the $280,000 Jugette Finale in Delaware and the $125,000 Courageous Lady at MGM Northfield Park.

Odds On Chesapeake has a record of 13-8-1 with earnings of $635,500 in 28 lifetime starts.

She will be honored at the Ohio Harness Horsemen’s Association Annual Awards Banquet on January 10 at the Renaissance Columbus-Westerville in Westerville, Ohio.

The 2025 Ohio Horse of the Year will be announced during the awards banquet.
