NY Rangers Game 21 Open Thread: Rangers in Vegas

The Rangers screwed up at home against Detroit on Sunday (shocker). Now they escape their own house of horrors, hoping that a scenic trip west is just what the doctor ordered. It’s a bit scary that the Rangers can’t win at home, and it’s clear that it’s almost entirely mental at this point. Although the Rangers are now without Gabe Perreault for the entire trip, they returned to Hartford to make room for Scott Morrow as injury insurance on the blue line. Perreault did well and his presence made for a much more balanced lineup. Hopefully he’ll be back soon.

Will Borgen appears to be a game-time decision, presumably for Scott Morrow. Urho Veelanainen was paired with Borgen in training today, so he is either scratched or injured as well (he got beat up about a week ago).
