The session on August 30 starts with a pre-market at 9:00 am, followed by trade between 9.15 am and 10:10 am. A Re-Login window is available from 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm for participants to validate connectivity and system stability.
The exchange clarified that the exercise does not include fund movements or software updates.
Trades performed during the MOCK session will not lead to funds or payouts, the NSE explains. It added that no new software updates are released during Saturday’s exercise, although participants can use the possibility to perform unforeseen exercises and test back -up systems in a simulated environment.
Mandatory upgrade forward
Market participants must migrate to the latest Neat+ version 7.8.3 before 6 September, when the older 7.8.2 version is stopped. The exchange has emphasized the need for timely migration to prevent disruptions once the older version has been phased out.
Why it matters
MOCK -Handels sessions, usually held on Saturday, enable brokers to validate infrastructure, check order management systems and test new products. Prices shown during the exercise reflect the values ​​of the fake trade and no live market activity.
