Now three more Newcastle United TV matches have been confirmed – Wednesday update

We now have details of three Newcastle United TV matches in the Premier League, following an update on Wednesday afternoon.

An official club announcement (see below) revealing the arrangements for Premier League rounds 14 to 17.

It was expected that all TV changes for December 2025 and January 2026 would be announced today.

However, only the first four PL rounds in December, which take us to the weekend of Saturday, December 20.

Burnley at SJP on Saturday December 6 has been left as is, but the Premier League home games against Spurs and Chelsea have been changed, plus the away game at Sunderland.

Newcastle United official announcement – October 15, 2025:

‘Three of Newcastle United’s December matches have been moved in the latest round of Premier League fixture changes, covering rounds 14 to 17.

The changes start with the visit of Tottenham Hotspur for the first match of the month. That match at St. James’ Park will now be played a day earlier than initially intended, kicking off at 8:15pm GMT on Tuesday, December 2 and shown live on Sky Sports.

The date and time for the Tyne-Wear derby against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light have also been changed. That match will now start at 2pm GMT on Sunday 14 December – a day later than originally planned. Sky Sports will also broadcast that highly anticipated match.

And Chelsea’s visit to St. James’ Park has a new kick-off. It remains on Saturday December 20, but starts at 12:30 GMT instead of 3:00 GMT, and will be shown live on TNT Sports.
