Novak Djokovic added another milestone to his illustrious career by simply taking to the court for his Australian Open quarter-final against Lorenzo Musetti on Wednesday.
Former No. 1 player in the PIF ATP Rankings Djokovic has become only the third man to play 1,400 matches at tour level. Heading into his game-changing encounter with Musetti, Djokovic had a career record of 1166-233, according to the Infosys ATP Win/Loss Index.
The 38-year-old Djokovic joins fellow ATP No. 1 Club members Jimmy Connors and Roger Federer as the only men to make 1,400 tour-level outings. Djokovic has the best winning percentage (83.29%) of the three, followed by Federer (82%) and Connors (81.8%).
Djokovic is currently playing his 1,400th match at tour level at the 2026 Australian Open.
In fact, only two men aside from Connors, Federer and Djokovic, have competed in more than 1,300 matches at tour level. They are Rafael Nadal and Ivan Lendl, who are also former world number 1.
Djokovic’s winning percentage is the best of all 29 members of the ATP No. 1 Club. His biggest rival in that category is Nadal, who retired in 2024 with a record of 1080-228 in tour-level matches, equivalent to an 82.6% success rate.
