Nottinghamshire Clinch County Championship Title for the first time in 15 years

Nottinghamshire -captain Haseb Hameed led from the front against Warwickshire with a century because they protected the two bonus points they had to be crowned to be crowned champions of the province for the first time in 15 years.

Hameed scored 122 at the top of the order and set up the hosts to comfortably go beyond 300 they needed.

That is why they have obtained the points to win a seventh title by leaving the reach of defending champion Surrey.

Joe Clarke (52) and Kyle Verreynne maintained the momentum, where the last half century brought forward with a cover that drives four before he passed his next score for six to get them over the line in style.
