In an important development, the Star India National Cricket Team Batters Kl Rahul and Rohit Sharma are all ready to undergo fitness tests soon.
A Revportz journalist, Rohit Juglan, has reported that Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul and some other cricketers will undergo the tests on 30 and 31 August in the BCCI Center of Excellence.

Rohit Sharma announced his retirement to Test Cricket on 7 May 2025, prior to the Anderson-Detulkar Trophy 2025 against the English National Cricket Team.

He ended his test career with 4301 runs in his bag in 67 games on an average of 40.57 and was replaced by Shubman Gill as the Red-Ball Skipper.
After Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli also retired and traveled to England with very little experience in the team. Kl Rahul was the most experienced batter of the test team, and he stepped up and took the responsibility of a Senior Slagman very well.
The Karnataka fittings scored good runs over all five games and ended as the third highest run-getter in the series. In five innings, Kl Rahul scored 532 points on an average of 53.20. He hit the Tour for two centuries and two fifties.

Rohit Sharma to undergo yo-yo test
In a video shared by Revportz on their X handle, Rohit Juglan stated that Rohit Sharma will undergo some fitness tests on 30 August and then participate in the YO-YO test on 31 August.
“At the moment I can break that Rohit Sharma will be in the new Center of Excellence of BCCI and he will be there on the last days of this month, most likely on 30th and 31st, the two important days.

No bronco test? Rohit Sharma and Kl Rahul to undergo yo-yo tests
The journalist also stated that some other players, such as Harshit Rana, will also be present at the BCCI Center of Excellence for undergoing fitness tests alongside Rohit Sharma and Kl Rahul. However, he was not certain whether the newly introduced Bronco test would be part of the sessions or not. He explained:
“Rohit Sharma will be there and he will go through everything that, you know, the yo-yo test, the other test, the Bronco test is very part of the discussions, but you know what I have seen for the Bronco test is very part of the, you know, series, not in the Center of Excellence area.
Juglan also stated that there is no update about the participation of Virat Kohli in the fitness tests at the BCCI Center of Excellence.
“So yes, I also asked for Virat Kohli’s, you know, the availability he will be there or not, but there is nothing at the moment, there is no dates as far as Virat Kohli are concerned,” he said.
