“Three defeats in four games show that it was not good enough of Birmingham City. The red card hinded their bid to fight against Coventry City, but early it is hard to claim that they have shown enough to fight it with the top dogs of the championship.

“There is no doubt that BCFC are big favorites here. Sheffield fighting and fighting hard on Wednesday, but on paper they should not be a party for a team that has had the level of investment that the blues had.

“However, football is not played with propcontact and Wednesday the resilience shown to grind good results. Unfortunately I think they will just get short, but I see them giving the blues a real match here.”

Prediction: Birmingham City 1-0 Sheffield Wednesday

Charlie Hodgson

“Birmingham City must be big favorites for this, given the context of both clubs. The blues have started the season relatively well and will focus on another three points against the wrestling Sheffield on Wednesday.

“Before Wednesday they just have to keep playing with the fearlessness with which they played. Four points of their last two is phenomenally seen what is going on in the club and the summer they have had.

“However, I think Birmingham City will win the victory. They have a very good team, and in the end it will be difficult for Wednesday to continue with the rapid reversal of matches, given their team size.”

Prediction: Birmingham City 2-0 Sheffield Wednesday
