A police chief from Upstate New York is on leave after a knock-out of words with his girlfriend and a group of black teenagers who went viral.

The incident took place while the police chief of Binghamton Joseph Zikuski was out of service on July 18. Zikuski dragged his girlfriend, Susan Rice, out of the porch of a neighbor after she was involved in a fight with some black teenagers. Rice is said to have approached the teenagers and refers to them as “section 8” and pushed claims that “we are the police”, although they are not in a law enforcement position.

While the teenagers can be heard calmly that she ‘goes into the cradle’, Rice repeatedly told them that ‘this is her legacy’, pointing to the neighboring house. Visibly irritated by their laughter stormed rice the veranda to approach the boys, and then things passed.

Rice climbed the stairs and waved the minors, later identified as a 16-year-old boy who lived in the house and an 18-year-old friend who was visiting, according to Syracuse, After someone was heard he said, “Touch me, touch me.” Forced to defend himself, the teenager hit her back and hit her on the floor. Zikuski was then seen who came to the veranda to lift rice and carry her away.

As the Video Viral went, users of social media came in to support the young men and wondered what Rice had to approach them in the first place. “What put that battery in her back after she looked inside? She saw him put on his outdoor socks and thought it was time?” @samforthset wrote.

Another user pushed the story of the woman who got what she earned as ‘a entitled Karen’. “Nothing makes me happier than entitled Karen who gets what they deserved, tf learned, more of this pls,” said @ummalecs.

Rice was treated for her injuries and was arrested on July 21 by the Johnson City Police, accused of endangering the well -being of a child, entering a second -degree intimidation. Mayor Jared Kraham van Binghamton held the incident and said he was bothered by the woman’s language, especially because she is not employed by the city or the police. “I suffer from her language and the implication that she is in any way above the law because of a personal association with a member of the police,” said Kraham.

A lawyer was hired by the city to conduct a private investigation to ensure that there were no violations of the policy of the police or misconduct. As soon as the investigation is completed, Kraham said that the report will be made public.

Zikuski, who has served Binghamton’s police chief since 2008, is under the microscope for his own legal issues. In 2015 he was placed with administrative leave for more than three months due to a statement of sexual harassment. He returned to the department when the complaint was later dropped. Viewers of the video claim the next step for Zikuski should be to fall Rice as a partner. “He has to leave her as quickly as possible. She ruined his life,” wrote an X user.
