Grove City, Oh – The driver-trainer team of Dan Noble and Anette Lorentzon won four of the five $ 20,000 divisions in the third stage of the Buckeye Stallion series for first-year Filly Trotters at Eldorado Scioto Downs on Tuesday (August 12).
Joyofmylife as a head that victories, won the fourth division in a life in a life-best 1: 55.1 and this season is a perfect three-for-three in the BSS.
The Guardian Angel as Filly became fourth as two by four (Trevor Smith) led the field past the first two calls in: 28 and: 57.2. Joyofmylife, as first moved at the half point and was in third place, because two by four continued to lead along the three -quarters brand in 1: 26.3.
She went to take the lead and withdrew to win with nearly three lengths. Seven Lick Range (Kurt Sugg) was followed second by faster horses (Aaron Merriman) in third place. Joyofmylife as is the property of ACL Stuteri AB and Kjell Johansson.
Noble also rode Lorentzon-Train Guardian Angel as Fillies Chasingstardust ALS and Mockingbird with regard to victory.
Chasingstardust as won the fifth division in Wire-to-Wire Mode in 1: 58.3 for her second BSS victory and joined her first leg victory in a lifelong-best 1: 57.4. She placed fractions from: 29.1, 1: 00.1 and 1: 29.4 and won with a length over Guardian Doll (Ronnie Gillespie) with Seeuouatthelake (Chris Page) in third place. Chasingstardust as, who was a second place in the second stage, is owned by ACL Stuteri AB.
Mockingbird As won the first division with more than two lengths in 1: 55.4, scored her first BSS victory after being second ending in Judy’s Moni in each of the first two legs. Judy’s Moni (Anthony Macdonald) was followed second by Lacy Lucy (Luke Hanners) in third place.
Lacy Lucy led the field beyond the first three calls with fractions of: 27.1 ,: 57.3 and 1: 25.4. Mockingbird, as first from third place to half and finally took over the lead and pulled the piece down. She is owned by Lorentzon.
Noble and Lorentzon scored their fourth victory with wild as she as. The Venture Filly won the third division in 1: 57.4 for her first career victory in three starts. Fifth halfway the point, wild as her first switched and shot to the front and came in the last turn on the way to winning one and a half length. RG’s Rhapsody (Brett Miller) finished second with Rose Run Bridget (Tyler Smith) in third place. Wild as her owned by ACL Stuteri AB.
With 29-1 chances, Readi Two scored a upset victory in the Second Division and won with a length of 1:58 with trainer Sandy Beatty in the Sulky in a lifetime. Hangighoney L (Hank Levan), a winner in each of the first two legs, was followed second by Triver-Triumphant Times (SUGG) in the second rice (SUGG) in third place.
Until the end as (noble) led by the first three calls with fractures from: 28.3 ,: 59.2 and 1:29. Readi Two was eighth in the field of nine horses halfway and celebrated in the last part before he gathered on the outside for the victory. Readi Two has hit the board in all four seasonal starts with three wins and one second. The Readi for Moni Filly is owned by Robert Sharrits.
The Buckeye Stallion series 2025 for first -year Merrieveeulen Trotters continues with the fourth stage on 24 August in MGM NORTHFIELD PARK.
