I could not even arrange myself about a name for this – somewhere between Froyo, Sherbet and Granita – but the atmosphere is simple: simple frozen keto treat. Mix it in minutes and freeze for a creamy, icy shovel or stop early and pour it into a glass for a refreshing summer fir. No churn, no gadgets. Keep the dairy-free and vegan by skipping collagen or using plant proteins or making it with Greek yogurt if you prefer dairy products. It is the kind of freezer treat that I make when it is hot and I want something cold without making it a project.
Ingredients and Swaps
This is what I use and how you can change it:
- Coconut yogurt: Unsweed vanilla or just. If you just add a little sugar-free vanilla extract or vanilla bean powder.
- Coconut milk: Light coconut milk such as Aroy-D = Creamier; Almond milk = lighter but a little icier. Full canned coconut milk can also be used (higher fat and creamier).
- Allulose: Syrup keeps it softer; Working but can feel somewhat grainy. Can be used to taste, especially if the flavored protein powder is used.
- Protein powder: Add proteins and a creamier sip. Use penten protein powder if you want to keep the vegan. You can also use whey protein powder or insulate collagen or beef protein to keep the dairy-free.

Which coconut yogurt is the best?
Go for unsweetened, full coconut yogurt with a short ingredient list (coconut, water, live cultures). Thicker is better – if yours is liquid, the tensioning or the milk reduces. Unsweed vanilla also works. Cocos (formerly Coyo) is a great choice; It contains a small Tapioca starch (in case you are sensitive to it), and the carbohydrates are similar to ordinary Greek yogurt.
Can I use dairy yogurt?
Yes. Full Greek or thick normal yogurt works 1: 1 for coconut yogurt. It is getting a more touchy and creamier. Of course not vegan or dairy -free. Ideally use 5-10% thick Greek yogurt. Options such as Skyr (0% fat) will also work, but will be less creamy and iron.
Can I replace allulose syrup with granulated sweetener?
Yes! You can use allulose, xylitol or erythritol powder form. Keep in mind that Erythritol sets firmer/ICIER. If the use of granulation ingur: Solve 4 tbsp wake sweetener in 2 tbsp hot water and let it cool slightly before adding to the blender. Get a 20% discount Rxsugar allulose here.
Taste options
- Chocolate: 1–2 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa. Add 1-2 teaspoon more allulose to balance.
- Cinnamon: 1–11/2 TSP Ground Cinnamon; A little vanilla is fun here.
- Any other taste: Add a ball of your favorite protein powder. I use collagen powder from Perfect Keto – Get a 20% discount and beef protein isolate from Rest – get a 15% discount. If your protein powder is sweetened, reduce the allulose.
Tips for the best results
A few tweaks make this exactly the way you like.
- Freeze the yogurt in a silicone ice sheet so that the cubes appear neatly.
- Big yogurt = creamier texture. If yours is thin, you must tax them or use a little less milk. You can use a nut milk bag for this.
- Cold boring sweetness – Tighten the base before freezing it and adjusting the allulose.
- Use clean sweetener? First dissolve it in a warm splash of the coconut milk or almond milk.
- Stir every 20-30 minutes for a smoother set while it freezes.
- Too fat to mix? Add milk, a tablespoon at the same time, until it fits smoothly.
- Store covered to prevent ice crystals on top; Soften 5-10 minutes before scooping on the kitchen counter.
