Nike LeBron 23 “From This Point Forward” references his iconic SI cover

It’s a story that’s been told before, but you honestly can’t exaggerate the expectations that accompanied LeBron when he entered the league. ESPN broadcasts of his Saint Vincent-Saint Mary games as a senior, feature articles on his status as the savior of the Cleveland Cavaliers, and, famously, a Sports Illustrated cover that declared him the “Chosen 1.”

As the LeBron 23 marches on and recalls some of the more totemic moments from James’ journey, the Nike LeBron 23 harkens back to that pop culture moment with the “From This Point Forward” colorway. Coated in Fighting Irish shades with a ‘White/Stadium Green/Light Smoke Grey/Black’ arrangement, the shoe’s link to the man himself comes on the heel, replicating the back tattoo a young king got shortly after the American Institute showed him off.

Like all LeBron 23 pairs to date, the “From This Point Forward” comes with a matching graphic tee, which features the rising talent in his L23 logo. Additionally, the tour-date-style overview of each moment referenced by the silhouette is now the first entry; “2.18.02 in Akron” refers to the publication date of the now legendary magazine.

Expect the Nike LeBron 23 “From This Point Forward” as part of the silhouette’s ongoing rollout through Holiday ’25/Spring ’26. The usual retail price of $210 is expected for the shoe, $50 for the shirt.
