Nike Book 2 “Spiridon” launches on February 6

Nike Book 2 “Spiridon” launches on February 6

Devin Booker has insisted he wants his signature boots to be wearable both on and off the pitch. Lots of brands and signature athletes participation that, but few have pushed this through like Nike and Book. The Nike Book 1 featured a low-top style similar to Beaverton classics like the Air Force 1 and Blazer Low, the latter being one of Book’s personal favorites, and was used repeatedly to pay tribute to other Nike icons. The Nike Book 2, meanwhile, features bright shades of Christian Tresser’s Nike Zoom Spiridon, here given a new style to match that shoe’s most famous original colorway.

Book first laced up its “Spiridon” shoes in December 2025 and has since released multiple PE styles with the same design cues, including a “Black Tie” edition and a “Phoenix Suns” colorway. The mesh upper is paired with a synthetic mudguard, while five lace loops/ribbons extend through the mesh on each side.

The public version is based on the original ‘Metallic Silver/Sport Red/Black/White’ livery of the 1997 Spiridon, which last returned at the end of 2024 and was received surprisingly calmly. We won’t say that the Spiridon is the basis all Nike Book 2 styles, but even different compositions have somehow retained the Spiridon’s ribbons.

The Nike Book 2 “Spiridon” will release on February 6th via Nike and Nike Basketball retailers, priced at $145. Check out the retailers’ official images below and head over to our Sneaker Release Dates page to check out more upcoming basketball shoes.
