The new owner of the Nashville Predators may not want to wave the white flag, but they have some pieces they can move

They are under new ownership and it may be difficult to wave the white flag. Steven Stamkos most likely won’t be traded, but Jonathan Marchessault could be moved. Erik Haula could be made available. I’m not sure which way they’ll go with Ryan O’Reilly.

People said to me, O’Reilly isn’t moving. People said to me: 50-50. I don’t know what to think about that. No way.
And you also know that you now have a new owner, who is starting to become a bit known. I think it’s very difficult when you’re a new owner and you’re tasking the team for the playoffs to wave the white flag. Now everyone is different. Some people don’t care, but it’s hard when you’re new and trying to make a good impression.
Stamkos, again, I probably haven’t been told at this point. I still really think that Marchessault, everyone there is trying to work to find a solution.
And another guy who did nothing to hurt his value in the Olympics was (Erik) Haula. He played extremely well for Finland. And again, there are a lot of centers, and that’s the challenge.
