Evander Kane’s agent is cleared to talk to teams about a trade
Rick Dhaliwal: Dan Milstein, the agent for Vancouver Canucks forward Evander Kane, has been cleared to talk to teams to help facilitate a trade.

No talks yet between the Toronto Maple Leafs and Scott Laughton
The Fourth Period: David Pagnotta reported Monday that the Toronto Maple Leafs must find a way to retain UFA forward Scott Laughton, but there have been no meaningful talks between the two sides thus far.
“They have had no meaningful discussions or negotiations regarding an extension,” Pagnotta said. “I think there’s an understanding that they would like to have those discussions. He’s already proven to be a glue man in the room … but they haven’t had those in-depth contract discussions with his camp yet.”
