Top candidates and honorable mentions for Pavel Zacha if he becomes available
Lyle Richardson of Bleacher Report: If the Boston Bruins fall out of the playoff race and decide to make some changes, they may consider trading 28-year-old forward Pavel Zacha. He has a cap hit of $4.75 million, one year left on his contract and a no-trade clause for eight teams. The Bruins may not be sellers, but if they are, teams will be calling. The Bruins could get a first-round pick or a quality prospect for him.
Top prospects if he becomes available include the Carolina Hurricanes, Minnesota Wild, Montreal Canadiens, New York Rangers and the Vancouver Canucks.
Honorable mentions go to the Buffalo Sabres, Calgary Flames, Edmonton Oilers, New Jersey Devils, Philadelphia Flyers and the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Calgary Flames forward Blake Coleman should draw some trade interest later this offseason
The Fourth Period: David Pagnotta said last week on DFO Rundown that there are a few teams that could look at Calgary Flames forward Blake Coleman later in the season. The soon-to-be 35-year-old has one year left on his contract with a $4.9 million salary cap hit and a 10-team trade list.
“One year left on his contract, a very tasty top prospect for what he produces, has a ring… This is going to be a guy that I think a lot of contenders will look to target,” Pagnotta said. “Now that he has some form of non-trade protection, he has a list of teams he wants to go to.
I do expect this to spark some conversation for teams, assuming Calgary doesn’t right the ship — which seems like it’ll be pretty hard to do — but if they’re still kind of in the bottom half of the Western Conference, I do expect a lot of contending teams to reach out and say, okay, A) are we on his list? Is it worth having this discussion? If not, can you nudge him to see if he changes his mind? And then, B) what is the price for the teams he wants to go to? How do we get there?”

Pagnotta adds that the Flames may be more open to the idea of moving Coleman over a Nazem Kadri. The asking price for both will be high.
