“They are very ready to keep Coleman; he is an important leader in the dressing room, but they cannot say 100 percent because there may be an offer that exceeds it, given the interest there is in the market for Coleman.”
Sportsnet’s Nick Kypreos: The 34-year-old Coleman has one year left on his contract for just under $5 million. He is a versatile forward who can put the puck in the net. They should try to maximize their return on him, and he is generating a lot of interest.

According to Pierre LeBrun, Miller’s name is known, but he’s not sure why. But he is not interested in renouncing, and they are not interested in asking him to relinquish his NMC.
“What I was told today is that Miller has no intention of waiving his no-move clause, and the Rangers have no intention of going to him and asking to waive it. They traded for him last year, they made him captain, and they still believe in the reasons why they made that move. Miller should not be part of any exodus of players leaving New York.”
