Blake Coleman may be the Calgary Flame generating the most trade interest
TSNCalgary Flames defenseman Rasmus Andersson will most likely be traded before the March 6 deadline, according to Pierre LeBrun, and the Flames owner does not want to trade Nazem Kadri. LeBrun adds that forward Blake Coleman has received the most calls, but he has a modified no-trade clause and may not want to go anywhere.

“I was surprised to find out that Blake Coleman is the name the Flames have gotten the most calls on so far. Not surprised because he’s not a good player, he absolutely is, but I also know the Flames absolutely love his character. I think he’s a big leader in that room, and quite frankly, they’re not buying Coleman. What’s happened is a number of teams have contacted GM Craig Conroy and said, ‘If you ever get there closer to March 6,’ we’d love the opportunity to acquire Coleman”.
Are the Detroit Red Wings open to moving Cam Talbot?
Kyle Morton of Daily Faceoff: David Pagnotta was on Daily Faceoff Live and was asked if the Detroit Red Wings would be open to trading goalie Cam Talbot.
“Unless there’s a season-ending injury or something of relative significance in that regard, I think this is going to be a wait-and-see situation. A) How they do and (B) How the Wings do.”
Is there any way to target an experienced goalkeeper who has that experience? The numbers aren’t terrible at all in Detroit, but he doesn’t have any trade protection, and with John Gibson there, is this a path Steve Yzerman is willing to take?
