The Penguins Captain became the 12th player in NHL history to skate in 1,400 games with one franchise, and third active, joining Ovechkin (1,541 GP with WSH) and Anze Kopitar (1,491 GP with LAK).
*Crosby’s 1,091 assists are third in NHL history in 1,400 career games, behind Wayne Gretzky (1,892) and Paul Coffee (1,133). His 1,742 points also rank third, behind Gretzky (2,772) and Marcel Dionne (1,771).

FOLIGNO, HUGHES HELP WILD TO SECOND PLACE IN THE CENTRAL DIVISION
Marcus Foligno (3-0-3) scored his first career hat trick and Quinn Hughes (0-2-2) had two assists as Wild (28-13-9, 65 points) defeated the Maple Leafs, jumping over the inactive Stars (27-13-9, 63 points) for second place in the Central Division.
* Foligno became the first Wild player who has since recorded a hat-trick Joƫl Eriksson I last season (April 9, 2025 vs. SJS) and the first to do this on the road since Kirill Kaprizov almost two years ago (January 21, 2024 in CAR).

He became the fifth player in franchise history to begin his NHL career with three consecutive 20-goal campaigns Patrick Kane (13), Jonathan Toews (12), Dennis Savard (10) and Darcy Rota (4). Toews skated opposite Bedard last night and was honored with a long and emotional standing ovation upon his return to Chicago.

Tuesday’s eight-game slate is headlined by a second straight NHL on TNT doubleheader opening with David Pastrnak and the Browns visiting the Stars followed by Connor McDavid and the Oil squirters host of the Devils.

* Pastrnak can extend his multi-point streak to a career-high five games as Boston battles for its seventh straight win of the season (also 7 GP of October 28 ā November 11, 2025). Pastrnak would be the Browns‘ first player with a series of that length since Barry Pederson (6 GP of March 10-27, 1984).
* Matt Duchenewho became the second person from the 2009 NHL Draft class to reach the 900-point milestone earlier this month, is being cited for the meaningful work he is doing in the community leading up to the Stars centrally at TNT. Duchene has played an important role in improving the lives of people with cancer. He welcomes children undergoing cancer treatment Stars games, together with their siblings and families, and meet them afterwards. Duchene donated another suite this season, an in-kind commitment totaling nearly $200,000 since joining Dallas in 2023-24. In October, Cancer Support Community North Texas received a check from Duchene’s HockeyTonk for $50,309.94.
* McDavid will play his final game against Hischier before Team Canada takes on Team Switzerland in the preliminary round of the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics. McDavid found the score sheet 22 of 23 games since December 4, 2025and has accounted for three of Edmonton’s 11 unanswered goals over the last two games.
