The Winnipeg Jets aren’t just missing goals

Tom Gullitti: Washington Capitals coach Spencer Carbery on Tom Wilson leaving Saturday’s game early:

“Yes. When someone goes down or is helped off the ice, you hope it’s just something where they can go in, get checked out and come back out. But also when you see situations like that, you get a little concerned when someone can’t put weight on their leg, like ‘Willy’ in that scenario. So your thoughts go to, ‘Oh dear. Is this something bad? So, thankful that it’s just everyday and won’t play out.’ , but we’ll see.”
