Dennis Bernstein: Los Angeles Kings goalie Darcy Kuemper was on the ice yesterday and can travel with the team. Kuemper said the blow to the head pinched a nerve/sting. The next morning he was fine.
Dennie Bernstein: Kings forward Trevor Moore was on the ice yesterday morning, forward Anze Kopitar was not, but both will travel.
TSN: Minnesota Wild defenseman Jonas Brodin underwent surgery for a persistent lower-body injury. As a result, he cannot play for Team Sweden in the Winter Olympics. It is not yet known when he can go back on the ice.

Forward Matt Boldy has missed the Wild’s past four games due to a lower-body injury. Defenseman Zach Bogosian has missed the past nine games. Forwards Joel Eriksson Ek and Marcus Johansson returned to the lineup.

Chris Johnston: Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman Oliver Ekman-Larsson will miss some time with a lower-body injury. Pierre LeBrun reported that this is not expected to affect his availability for the Olympic Games.
There is also some concern about defenseman Brandon Carlo, and that he may have made some adjustments during Monday’s game.
More should be known on Friday.
TSN: Johnston noted late Thursday afternoon that there is a little more optimism surrounding Ekman-Larsson and Carlo, and that they shouldn’t miss a single moment, with the possibility of being in the lineup Friday night.
