Jayden Danns scored and wore the bracelet of the captain while Rio Ngumoha came from the bank to offer an essential assist for England at youth level.
Arne Slot had called 19 senior players for international action alongside various youth players this month, including Ngumoha and Danns.
Ngumoha was initially called upon to represent the U18’s of England, but was promoted to the U19s, making him his debut on Wednesday before he was used from the bank against Spain on Saturday.
Trey Nyoni started and played 69 minutes of the dramatic 3-3 draw, introduced with Ngumoha with the score at 2-2 with 20 minutes to play, but a penalty put Spain back in the lead again.

Just a few minutes later, Ngumoha showed the qualities that he have seen for Liverpool since the preseason, run directly to the defense and use his fast feet to create space.
A powerful pass over the box made a slight deflection from the goalkeeper and found Harrison Armstrong for an easy tap-in to make the 3-3 first assist at this level.
As far as Danns is concerned, he wore the bracelet of the captain during his debut for the U20S and scored an equalizer for his side against Italy on Friday almost immediately after the restart.
England could not add to his well-incised strike and then lost this break with 2-1 in their only planned match, with Danns watching the last phases of the bank.
In contrast to Ngumoha, who has a defined role in the first team, Danns remained after the transfer deadline in Liverpool and hoping that senior opportunities will get his way in domestic cups this season.
The arrival of Alexander Isak and Hugo Ekitike are not conducive to Danns who make their way to the competition day team, but he could later add a valuable depth later in the campaign for Arne Slot.
Regarding other international updates, Ekitike made his debut for France, while Isak was left on the couch when Sweden chose to take a big risk with the striker after a disturbed preseason.
