Special teams

Offensive Player of the Week: RB Rhamondre Stevenson, New England Patriots

Stevenson fought for carries heading into the playoffs and made the most of his limited carries, converting seven attempts into 131 yards and a pair of touchdowns while forcing four missed tackles along the way. He also impressed as a receiver, adding another 22 yards and a third touchdown. He finished the game with a PFF grade of 92.9.

Defensive Player of the Week: EDGE Carl Granderson, New Orleans Saints

Granderson was effective as a pass rusher, as he registered five pressures from 27 pass rushing snaps, and run defender, as he registered four tackles that resulted in a defensive stop, but he made one of the plays of the week in coverage. As he read the play and broke away from his initial pass rush, he made an incredible interception on a screen pass, leaping in front of Atlanta Falcons quarterback Kirk Cousins’ throw.

Rookie of the Week: G Gray Zabel, Seattle Seahawks

It’s rare to see an offensive lineman mentioned here, but Zabel led all rookies in PFF’s rankings this week after an outstanding performance in their NFC West win over the San Francisco 49ers. In addition to allowing no pressure on 32 pass-blocking snaps, Zabel also posted a PFF run-blocking grade of 91.6.

Offensive Line of the Week: Buffalo Bills

The Bills offensive line put an end to the New York Jets’ pass rush in Week 18, as the offensive line gave up just one pressure out of 32 pass-blocking snaps in the game. It also helped spark a big game on the ground, as the Bills racked up 211 rushing yards.
