These are some of the best player prop bets to target in Week 17 for the 2025 NFL season.

WR Mason Tipton, New Orleans Saints: over 2.5 receptions (+125)

With Devaughn Vele placed on season-ending injured reserve, Tipton and Kevin Austin Jr. their shares rise rapidly in week 16. Tipton recorded five goals and four receptions on the season while posting a solid target percentage of 16.7%. Despite Tipton’s expanded role, his receiving lines have remained largely unchanged over the past five games. Since the 11th Saints Week, he has exceeded this limit of 2.5 three times.
The Titans have had trouble containing wideouts all season. While their overall statistical profile puts them in the middle third of the NFL in receptions allowed to receivers, the efficiency stats paint a more alarming picture. The Titans’ coverage unit ranks 31st in EPA per target (0.518) and yards per coverage target (9.7) allowed on throws to the receiver position.
One thing you should keep an eye on before placing this bet is Tipton’s health and playing status. The second-year receiver is currently listed as questionable with a groin injury after logging three limited practices this week. While it appears he will suit up, if Kevin Austin Jr. becomes a late scratch, he would be a name to target given the Saints’ dearth of wide receiver outside Chris Olave.
RB Saquon Barkley, Philadelphia Eagles: Anytime TD (+105)

After some struggles establishing an on-field presence this season, Saquon Barkley and the Eagles’ running games have seen a resurgence in recent weeks. Since early December, the Eagles have risen to a top-10 mark in EPA per rush (0.022), powered by Barkley’s 5.3 yards per carry and three scores.
That trend should continue against a Bills defense that has struggled to match the run all season, ranks 31st in passing percentage allowed (34.5%) and has surrendered the most touchdowns on designed runs (23) in the NFL. And with defensive tackles DaQuan Jones (calf) and Jordan Phillips (ankle) ruled out, the Bills will rely on a pair of rookies in TJ Sanders (41.6 PFF run-defense grade) and Deone Walker (50.1) to fill the interior void.
