Shedeur Sanders finds WR Isaiah Bond deep downfield heading into a big passing day
The Bears’ pass defense has struggled all season, but their biggest problem has been defending the deep ball even after getting healthier in the secondary.
Over the past month, Chicago has allowed the fourth-highest percentage of explosive players, thanks in part to a defense that ranks fourth in deep attempts allowed.

Isaiah Bond has emerged as the Browns’ top deep threat. He leads the team in average depth of target while posting strong separation data that indicates impending production.
Shedeur Sanders has thrown deep with one of the highest marks in the NFL and ranks in the top-10 in accuracy. Against a Bears pass rush that struggles to generate pressure, that connection comes together well — with a pair of downfield drives to Bond serving as the clearest path to a big passing day for Cleveland.
SGP Build: 180-1 on DraftKings
- QB Shedeur Sanders: 280+ passing yards
- WR Isaiah Bond: 80+ receiving yards
- Cleveland Browns: Moneyline
Jalen Waddle excels in coverage of the Steelers men
The Steelers have been one of the NFL’s most man-heavy defenses, ranking in the top five in man coverage both this season and in recent weeks. And as we often see, coverage of men tends to widen talent gaps more than zones, where the better players are much more likely to win their matchups.

Jaylen Waddle has been dominant against man coverage, averaging nearly 3 yards per route with excellent separation numbers, which helps explain why he has targeted man on nearly a third of his routes.
He now has a Steelers defense that allows for a top-10 separation percentage and doesn’t have any cornerback ranking in the top half of the league by PFF rank.
While Miami has become run-heavy, this is the toughest defense they’ve faced in weeks, and with the market fully pricing in a ground-oriented approach, there’s a strong argument for Miami to lean into the pass — with that volume flowing through Waddle.
SGP Build: 65-1 on DraftKings
- QB back label: 280+ passing yards
- WR Jayeln waddles: 120+ receiving yards
- Miami Dolphins: -3.5
Stroud is having an excellent game against the Cardinals defense
As discussed in our matchups column, Stroud is coming off an excellent matchup against a Cardinals defense that hasn’t posted a game with an upset rate above 33% in the past month.

Stroud performed extremely well when undisturbed, ranking in the EPA’s top 10 per play. The problem has been volume: he has suffered disruptions on almost 50% of his dropbacks this season, one of the highest rates in the league.
More importantly, his playing style changes dramatically when the disruption is removed. Stroud’s average target depth increases by more than two yards – well above league average – and his deep throws generate the sixth-highest EPA among all quarterbacks in the NFL.
Of Houston’s defense is positioned to overwhelm Arizona’s offensive line, this provides a spot where the Texans can control the play and Stroud can thrive as an aggressive, efficient downfield passer against a defense that struggles to disrupt.
SGP Build: 24-1 on DraftKings
- QB CJ Stroud: Over 300 passing yards and under 31.5 attempts
