De Las Vegas Raiders and San Francisco 49ers treated us to a handful of the first team of football. What else can you ask in week 2 of the preseason?
Whether it was Brock Purdy that Ricky Pearsall became regularly, Brock Bowers staggered in a deep shot by Geno Smith or Ashton Jeanty Trucking Naive defenders, the 49 people and Raiders set up an early show.
Field goals were in abundance, good for 27 of the combined 41 points of the teams in the last second 22-19 victory of the 49ers on the Raiders, covered by Jake Moody’s 59-Yard field goal.
The dedicated team of PFFF classes was hard at work and analyzed every player in every game in real time. The extensive figures and data are available after a thorough assessment tomorrow at noon.

Player of the game
Brock Bowers only played seven snaps, but he takes the player of the game title for his sensational jumping grip on a Geno Smith Deep Ball. It was nothing new for Bowers, who led all the tight ends in disputed catches and earned a 99.5 pff reception figure on deep passes in 2024.
