NFL preseason week 2 Game Recap: Los Angeles Rams 23, Los Angeles Chargers 22

2 minutes, 4 seconds Read

As the back injury of Matthew Stafford lingers and his return date becomes more uncertain, the Rams of Los Angeles do not take any risks with their thin quarterback room. Stetson Bennett IV went the distance for the second consecutive week. And for the second consecutive week he looked good.

While three turnover-worthy plays spotted Bennett’s Stat Lijn-28-440 pass for 324 Yards and three TouchDowns-Was his last ride the only thing that mattered. With a little less than a minute and a half in the game, he marched the rams across the field for a game-winning touchdown against the Los Angeles Chargers, and only stayed 5 seconds on the clock.

The 23-22 score brought the rams to 2-0 this preseason with Bennett Under Center. It is still to be seen whether his services are needed in the regular season.

The chargers received an excellent effort from Rookie Wideout Tre Harris, who secured all six of his catchable goals (eight total) for 85 Yards.
