Few things are more important to the success of an NFL team than the quality of their offensive line. Disastrous lines, or even special mismatches of weak links, can determine the outcome of games, while strong units provide an incredible advantage.
We’ll be monitoring the offensive play in the NFL all season long and highlighting each team’s biggest weak link players. With Week 17 of the 2025 NFL regular season in the books, here are the weekly rankings and the best player from each unit.

Denver’s offensive line allowed eight pressures â including one sack and two quarterback hits â on 44 pass plays against the Chiefs, leading to a PFF pass-blocking efficiency rating of 89.8 (10th best in Week 17).
The Broncos continued to alternate Alex Palczewski and Ben Powers at left guard, with Palczewski playing in the first and third quarters while Powers was on the field in the second and fourth quarters. However, the former struggled in pass protection, giving up three pressures â including two quarterback hits â on just 18 pass plays.

Bolles’ PFF pass-blocking grade of 90.7 this season leads all offensive tackles.

2. Chicago Bears (no change)

The Bears’ offensive line limited the damage despite the team’s loss to the 49ers. On 45 dropbacks, Chicago gave up nine pressures with no sacks or quarterback hits. The unit finished the week with a PFF efficiency rating of 90.0, earning the eighth-best mark in the NFL.
Right tackle Darnell Wright dominated in the loss, trailing all offensive linemen in Week 17 with an overall PFF grade of 90.7. His PFF run-blocking grade of 92.7 ranked third among all players.

Thuney’s PFF pass-blocking grade of 87.6 is leading among all guards this season.
