The young Liverpool stars had so far won both league games this season and saw in it to continue their record of 100 percent when they took the lead just before half an hour.

The Premier League under the age of 18 (Noord) table that looks like this on Monday morning:
That puts the young Newcastle United stars perfect for a huge competition this Thursday.
One of the many benefits of Eddie Howe that takes us to the Champions League again is that the youth team will receive a number of Bonus Top opposition.
The Newcastle United -Teenagers will play the reigning U19 UEFA Youth League champions Barcelona on Thursday, prior to the main event.
It is clear to see that one of the largest pieces of progress at Newcastle United is at the academy.
The terrible neglect of a year and a half under Mike Ashley, who refused to allow the club to spend a cent more than the absolute minimum of facilities and recruitment in the youth setup.
Instead, we see that essential correct investment in coaching, the facilities and recruitment of young talent in the United Kingdom and abroad. ‘
