This new digital hub is designed to emphasize the horse locations of Maryland, educational sources and tourist opportunities. The website was made possible by a subsidy from the Maryland Department of Commerce Offices of Tourism & Film.
MarylandHorspark.org Serves as the very first centralized platform to tell the story of the Maryland Horse Park System, which unites four “pillars” of Equestrian Excellence, including:
- Fair Hill Special Events Zone -The home of the annual Maryland 5-star at Fair Hill, one of only two CCI5*-L Eventing competitions in the United States, as well as the races on Fair Hill.
- Prince George’s Equestrian Center – A leading location of the competition that organizes national and international shows – including the Washington International Horse Show, Capital Challenge Horse Show & The Bill Picket Rodeo

- Finding a horse discovery center, licensed stables and organizations
- Discovering horse events and attractions throughout the state
- Access to educational material about the economic, ecological and cultural impact of the industry

It will serve as an essential marketing and educational tool, attract travelers, support local companies and bring the leadership of the state to the attention, heritage and innovation.
“If my predecessor, Ross Peddicord, has always said” All Maryland is Horse Park “and now we have a digital house to realize this dream after 20 years of discussions!” said Anne Litz, executive director of the Maryland Horse Industry Board.
