Leading real estate agent Jeremy Wiesner hopes he can be the first to benefit from what has become a wave of rival big-name agents setting up shop in Dubai.

Since mid-2025, Wiesner Property’s founder, who comes and goes, has secured properties for 25 clients, based on the appeal of investment returns of up to 12 percent.

‘Bondi Beach on steroids’, he calls Dubai.

Wiesner is joined in the shifting desert sand dunes by Gavin Rubinstein, Monika Tu and Marty Fox, all of whom have now settled in the emirates and fueled speculation of a global real estate series.

Industry veterans suggest there is a strong prospect that some of the new office ventures will have all the useless features of Hong Kong’s self-serving expansions of recent decades, starting with Andrew Gibbons in the late 1980s.

“The Middle Eastern Black Diamondz are now officially registered in the UAE,” Double Bay agent Monica Tu recently posted on social media.

Dubai was “the new energy center of the world, no longer just a transit region on the way to Europe,” she advised.

Rose Bay-based Rubinstein and cast member of the Luxe Listings Sydney series has appointed Matt Kemeny to lead TRG’s Dubai expansion.

Meanwhile, Melbourne-based Marty Fox has opened his office space in Dubai, expecting revenues of $500 million in the first year.

“I have the ability to unlock a country in less than four days,” he said.

“The Arabian sun sets in the background and the Arabian dream begins,” he said.

Fox has finally expanded into Sydney’s east.

He was looking for a Double Bay dynamo but hired Clay Brodie from BresicWhitney Eastern Beaches.

Dubai has also become a new favorite home base for Australians looking for new opportunities and a tax-free lifestyle.
