NEW Google slides for the semester course and the high school course

You asked, we listened. NGPF is pleased to announce the release of Google Slides to accompany the semester course and the high school course.

We created these new slide decks based on teacher feedback that they would help you reduce preparation time and simplify tutoring. We hope you are as excited as we are for this new development!

Here’s everything you need to know to get started with NGPF Google Slides.

Q: What courses have Google Slides?

A: The semester course and the high school course both have slides for each lesson. Slides are available for many lessons in the trimester course and the annual course because they overlap with the semester course.

Q: Where can I find Google Slides?

A: You can find Google Slides for each lesson on the course or unit pages. Click the ‘Google Slides’ button below the lesson.

Q: What do the Google Slides look like?

A: Check out this sample deck for class Why should I invest? Each slide deck is linked to a student activity pack – it contains the same resources and questions for that lesson.

Question: How do I use Google Slides? A: We recommend that you use the slides as a guide pace and guidance students through the teaching materials. You still need to distribute student materials such as the Student Activity Packet, activity materials, and Exit Ticket.

If you want to change the slides, you can click ‘File’ and ‘Make Copy’ to make a personal copy. We recommend that you make copies just before deploying the lesson to ensure you have the most current version.

Q: Can I use NGPF Google Slides with other platforms?

Yes! You can import Google Slides onto many platforms, such as Canva, Pear Deck, or your LMS.

With this new release of Google Slides, NGPF no longer offers Pear Decks. If you want to use the Pear Deck platform, you can easily use the new NGPF Google Slides and add interactive Pear Deck features.
