The ITTF integrity unit has launched a new one Confidential reporting channelDesigned to make it easier and safer for everyone in the table tennis community to report integrity issues. This important step reinforces the use of ITTF to protect the sport, its athletes and all other participants.
The new platform gives players, coaches, officials and other stakeholders a trusted, safe and independent space to report potential misconduct confidentially and safely.
By improving the quality and accessibility of the information received, the ITTF Integrity Unit wants to take faster and more effective action to keep the sport clean, honest and safe.
A safer way for players to pronounce
Players are the core of table tennis and their trust is essential. This platform ensures that their voice can be heard safely. Whether it concerns the manipulation of competition, intimidation or protection, doping or unethical behavior, players can now report problems directly via an extremely safe and confidential system.
It is important that the platform functions independently of the internal systems of ITTF. All reports are handled by the external provider Formalize and assessed by independent specialists Harod employeesWhere the honesty and protection of reporters are guaranteed, with relevant reports being passed on to the integrity unit.
What can be reported
The channel can be used to share knowledge or suspicions about:
- Corruption, fraud or unethical behavior within the table tennis board
- Manipulation of competition, such as match fixing, bets or abuse of prior knowledge.
- Intimidation, abuse and protection of matters in accordance with the safe sports policy of ITTF.
- Doping violations and other violations of the anti -doping rules.
- All other infringements of the articles of association or regulations of ITTF.
Reports can be made with contact details or completely anonymous, and are available in multiple languages, including Arabic, Chinese, English, French, German, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish.
