I’m happy to announce that Which Jochum will join NBC News as executive producer of our daily podcast, Here’s the Scoop, beginning today. Kateri brings a wealth of experience in audio journalism and podcast production. She joins us from Vox Media Podcast Network, where she was the supervising producer of the award-winning podcast On with Kara Swisher, a twice-weekly feature-length interview podcast.
Previously, she was executive producer of audio at The Wall Street Journal, where she oversaw a series of daily and weekly podcasts, launched new series and increased audience engagement by more than 50%. Her scope spanned teams in New York, London, San Francisco and DC, where she worked with marketing, sales and third-party distributors to expand reach. She has covered a range of topics from business, politics, technology and finance to culture, including a deep dive into Enron and a three-part investigative series on TikTok and eating disorders in The Wall Street Journal.
Kateri’s career also includes leadership roles at TheSkimm, ABC Radio News, WNYC and Deutsche Welle. She is passionate about storytelling, fostering collaboration, innovative environments, and mentoring aspiring podcast producers.
